Mounted under the door, this manually operated step folds down when needed and tucks away neatly when unused, making it ideal for vans, SUVs, and shuttle buses.

 

Working Principle of electric folding step

Trigger signal: Door linkage (most common): when the door is opened, the door sensor sends a signal to the controller, triggering the pedal to extend.

 

Pedal Deployment: The control unit starts the motor and pushes the pedal to unfold outward through gear + linkage or screw drive to form a stepping plane.

 

Retraction after use: After the passenger gets on the vehicle, when the door is closed or a retraction command is received, the motor reverses and the pedal retracts along the original path to the bottom of the chassis.
